The certification course was conducted professionally, and I felt supported by my instructor in the weeks following our class as I completed all of my review submissions. When you complete your practitioner training and the certification requirements you can proudly call yourself a HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator (HBCE). You will join a group of dedicated teachers in nearly 50 countries around the world bringing the message that birth is natural, normal and healthy. You will have the tools to help women release their fears and use specialized breathing, relaxation, visualization and massage techniques to create a positive birth experience. You will be a part of a powerful movement to help women find the best in themselves as they and their babies experience birth as it is meant to be. As a practitioner you will have the online support and insights of other instructors.
Please note that the power of this specialized childbirth education program is in its completeness. Instructors are required to teach the program as
5 weekly prenatal classes of 2 1/2 hours each under the name of HypnoBirthing®. Techniques should only be taught as part of the HypnoBirthing course and not added to other prenatal programs. Teaching materials are included in your tuition. You must purchase a book, the recordings and the parent handbook from the HypnoBirthing® Institute for each couple you teach at a cost of about $50 CAD. Instructors are asked to charge class fees comparable to those charged by other instructors in their area.
The HypnoBirthing® course gave us the confidence to enter the birth without fear or doubt. I was never once offered pain medication and did not think about it. I’m lucky to have taken the course. — Jane
